The incarnation does make God known in a new and profound way. But the incarnation does not narrow the gap between created finitude and divine fullness. In Christ we worship God in the flesh but it is still the incomprehensible God that we worship. evangelicals need to rediscover and reemphasize the doctrine of divine incomprehensibility as an act of retrieval for theological reasoning.
