The idea that you could potentially use a single analyte such as blood to detect for many different types of cancer signals has been around for a decade. The origin is pretty simple non-invasive prenatal testing and we've primarily focused on the methylation pattern because that's not only a marker of cancer but also the fingerprints of what cell is what cell which occur because of methylation. We can now detect that and accurately predict the cancer signal origin 95 times out of a hundred.
