What Is White Balance?
To see color, you need the three thing, which are the light, the object and the observer. White balance is the process of doing that color correction for each different shot. On film, that same white tea shirt might look blue in bright daylight, orange by the fire and multicolored in the night club. No matter the color of light flashing on me, we have the ability to see the white as one constant color. It's even called color constancy.
