In medieval England women worked alongside their husbands and husbands respected and understood the importance of women's contributions. Families themselves might be supportive of female employment because they're getting the money from it. When women goes to work it's helping the house buy a nicer car buy a nicer house contributors who's always families getting those economic rewards.
