The Parable of the Wedding Banquet

Jesus tells us a story about what heaven is like in the way of Jesus. He paints a picture of heaven that looks like a wedding feast. A picture to say here is where your desires are going to be ultimately fully and finally satisfied. It's a provocative image and it's an image that means something for our bodies right now. The most costly of yourself denial in this life also points to the same wedding feast that's coming. Show us Jesus's table and teach us to desire it.
