K bas checkersleva intelligence forces. At this point Edward benesh was embedded with the red army coming in from slavacia. So he desperately anted the american forces to come in, but he was in no position to actively do anything to encourage that himself. And so his sort of organization in the u k. Was working with the os s, with some knowledge of the s o e, probably, but not with the wider british intelligence services
