There's this kind of especially from the average I think English person's perspective at this time witchcraft is sort of unnatural. And you see that in Macbeth and Lady Macbeth kind of following. They are so my read on them is that first of all they're there to kind of sow disorder and chaos. But why pick Macbeth? For one, what does it benefit them to see a king die and then a new king take his place? Right? Do they just enjoy the cruelty of it? I don't know. Are they really just like kind of the instruments of fate?"
