The Boring Life of an Addict
I'd never heard that said about addicts before because you see, and it almost gets romanticised in movies and popular culture as well. The addict lifestyle, Rock and Rollo has this almost super romanticised view of how the addict spends their time. It's everything that takes up the space of the addiction with none of the beauty. But when you turn pro and you start really doing your work, then your life from the outside really does look boring. You know, all you're doing is practicing ballet steps in your studio or whatever it is. And so it is interesting how what we do think is exciting is really boring as hell.
