Is Prostitution a Gender Crime?

Prostitution isn't illegal in Britain and some states in the US as well. It's regarded as victimless, because women who are bought and sold aren't 'serially raped' Prostitution belongs on a list of gender crimes for being pushed into a situation that otherwise they would not have chosen. Most people who are in prostitution are desperately poor; Virtually all of them are sexually abused in childhood.
