i mentioned that as we made our way out west, sar and i were listening to the indigenous people's history of the united states. And she rec recognized thatit is painful, and it is really hard. As christian people, that kind of practice taps us evermore powerfully into the sufferings of christ. So that is sort of theological rational for engaging with american history from an utterly fearlessly truthful perspective.
