Avian Influences Causes Surge in Mortality

In November, all the news was about the scarcity of turkeys and high turkey prices because turkeys have been involved in avian flu too. What's happened in the egg business is exactly the same; we've lost close to 15% of our nation's lane flock just this year. So once a bird has the virus, they sort of like carry it in them at all times and it can come out again at a later date. And as it mutates those wild birds,. you know, are super spreaders they migrate, they land in the same ponds that some of our domestic water values and stuff like that.
