Is There a Need for a High View of Scripture?

Protestants don't understand that advocating for a high view of scripture is not enough. Protestants are so overly ambitious and they think that you can, you know, get the entire idea from one verse or something like that. How do we hold the things that we don't feel fully certain of? It's difficult today interacting with whole slew of people who hold a whole variety of opinions that conflict with yours.
