The entire ML and data science community is built on Python. Attacks on PIPI, the Python software supply chain grew 41% in 2022. It's just a general issue with this system where we have so many layers of abstraction that are composed. And there's risk even within a really big company when there was a horrible security flaw 10 years ago at SSL or something like that.
