The Covenant of Grace Is Based on a Pact Between Two Divine Persons
The persons of the trinity are not partners with one another in an eternal covenant. There can be no interpersonal co there is but only the covenant between god and man. In jesus christ, to say that there is a pact between two intertrinitarian persons introduces, for bart, a dualism within the godhead. The result is an uncertainty which necessarily relativize the unconditional validity of the covenant of grace,. making it doubtful.
