The Importance of Vocabulary in Communication
When it comes to reading, that's a skill you need to build. You know the words, quote unquote, no from your flashcard reviews or whatever, but you got to be seeing them in context and reading them to really own them. Yeah, we are talking about using language for communication. And I think I don't need to quote a study to make the point that it's not very easy to communicate with a native speaker with flashcards. But if you keep practicing, you're going to get better at it because it is a skill. It's not a form of knowledge.
