What Is the Moral Assessment of an Intellectual Movement in Its Connection to Lat Say, It's Most Morally Questionable Advocates?

What is the moral assessment of an intellectual movement in its connection to it's most morally questionable advocates? And how do we sort that out, and how do we disentangle or how do we live with it? I guess it's a question that's a hard question.
