"I want to keep my hand in and continue teaching, just so i can remember how to do it," he says. Chops is an expression used by jaz musicians - they need their cheeks supple for the trumpet. "The other one is the social aspect... I love interacting with the students." He adds that his contact with teachers is quite brief.
