Houston Is the Second Highest City in the United States for Crime Stoppers
Rona is most proud to have built the first ever crime stoppers headquarters in the world. At between 20 13 and 20 20, she and her team have raised nearly 21 million dollars for public safety related work within texas. The programme was so successful it got the attention of texas governor gregg abbott who asked macarius team to train all crime stoppers across the state of texas on school safety. Since the pandemic, crime has been rising in cities across the country. Hume homicide went up 71 % from 20 19 to 20 21. So far this year, according to the latest data, houston's now the second highest city in the country for homicides.
