And the most recent event was the global financial crisis in 2007-08, which was triggered by the subprime mortgage crisis and the collapse of the U.S. housing bubble. This is the time it's different. Today's guest explains how this real estate market is different than before and what you can do about it. Ken McElroy, author of ABCs of Real Estate Investing says, "The inflation rate was 9.1% in June, it's 7% now. They've raised interest rates six times and it's only gone down two percent."
