Language Change and Its Implications
Linguistics has focused on the pace of language change over time, but we're actually slowing face down. People are paying attention to lexicl that the words, the vocabulary of languages as opposed to process of language change and what how people are talking. I think there's a valuable kind of trans historical lesson there about language change. Think those are things that, under the right circumstances, can happen really fast.
