The Hindenburg Disaster
Hindenburg disaster basically killed commercial passenger travel on airships. Even at sistership, the grap zepplin, too nt carry passengers - not even after safety improvements. Of course, there are still airships, but theyare used for other purposes,. like the good year blemp which is used for advertising rather than commercial passenger travel. The tragedy was likely caused by a hydrogen leak that was then ched off by static electricity.
