Is There a Difference Between Science and Politics?

The evidence for theeffectiveness of mask wearing to slow the spread of the virus is very good. Yet this makes me think about the fact that science can be very susceptible to political weapons when those weapons are levelled at it. But, but si is is like the world beyond this domed colony of law and society. And i wonder if that's kind of the beauty of this a, this setting and this outer limits.
