Is There a Sustainable Mode?

I think it's just a matter of being able to figure out what is a sustainable mode? What are the likely cash flows? What are you paying for those cash flows? And if all of those make good sense and a high probability, then none of those investments are outside of value. Buffett has a quote that says we like to buy great businesses when they are on the operating team where they have hit some hopefully temporary hiccup.
