The Case of Dorothy Polinsky
Dorothy Polinsky's home was just four blocks away in the same neighborhood as Ambrose Griffin's house. Teresa Wallen, a 22 year old woman who lived about a mile and a half from where Ambrose Griffin was murdered died on January 23rd, 1978. The detectives carefully carved that bullet out of the shelf and sent it to the ballistics expert who concluded that the bullet fired at Dorothy Polinsky came from the same gun that murdered Ambrose Griffin.
