You don't need to know f it's a good idea or bad idea. The important thing is to get it out of your head. I mean, i throw away probably 90 % of my notes. But for the most part, i need to digest that stuff and then come loop back around from another point of view. That capture step on the front end is very important - especially if you're creative and sophisticated at all.
