The Future of AI in Cities
We need to ask how much autonomy is available, preferable, and agreeable both the seasoned administrators and the citizens in it. In an ultimate sense we like the idea of a city where strips of grass, trees, and flowers are all over the place, and carefully tended by robots. A slightly more advanced version might also anonymously query the smartphones and fit bits of passersby to see if the passage or pause there had lowered their stress or anxiety. There really isn't all that impressive on the big brother scale of what an AI running a city with cameras and drones all over might be able to do either.
