The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

A big component of any book about teaching particularly one as expansive as this is defining where we're going and a lot of that has to do with learning outcomes. Steven Covey a famous expression of his that he talks about in among other things the seven habits of highly effective people is the saying that the map is not the territory. I try to explain sometimes to our kids that if they were ever to see something on Google Maps for example that those cars that you see parked on that picture are not actually parked there right now.
