What Are the Banks Trying to Do With Their Net Interest Margin?
Interest rates haven't gone up for some time, since back in two thousand and ten. When interest rates go up, from a varial point of view, an our repayments go up. There is obviously a larger dollar value of money that's collected by the banks when interest rates are higher. And where does all that money go? Well, some of it goes into higher profits a te but in terms of where they are sourcing that money from,. there is a liability that's being created by the banks.
