The Lifeline of American Capitalism

The lifeline of American capitalism is to actually at some point generate a profit and or have a line of credit. If you're a large company with access to essentially free capital, you borrow it all you can. You don't spend it on taking risky possibly productive actions like a new factory or a new technologyor hiring more people. No, you spend it on, oh, let's you know, we'll buy back the stock. We'll take, we'll take riskless actions with the free money. That game is categorically over until you change what we've been talking about here, is it not? It is. And I am so in favor of normalizing interest rates and
