Is There a Lower Limit to Yield?
I think one of the things has, i've dug more into finance over the last four or five years is that zero is just another number. Negative is just on a scale. It doesn't actually mean anything. Differently, ye it's interesting. I mean, yield for bonds, for example, has no lower limit. It can go literally to minus infinity. We'd be in trouble if it does. W we would because effectively that means you'd make a hundred % los but the point is that there is no lower bound. And as an individual investor with equity, i might choose to hold government bonds despite the negative yield. Just as a hedge rits, if the equity tanks
