In the early 1990s I got a call from a guy who wanted me to do some work on. Short cycle methodologies because he was selling an automated tool for software development. And so what we did is we developed the methodology that we used with companies where we went in for a month and did a project and when we get a ratio. That kind of got me started on smaller iterations. And so I started working on this all during the 1990s. At the first I was calling it rack of software development. That was kind of my name for it.
