The OED and the Quebec Board of the French Language
The Quebec board of the French language gets to decide what English words make it in and don't. They're very inclined to always say no, because every English word that gets in pollutes the language they now have. This is an issue for everybody as they understand it. And really, they're having those offices is kind of like the full flower. These individual things come up and we all get agitated and then we forget about it.
