What Is Collectivism in China?

In China, people are very willing to sacrifice themselves for their friends or family. In the U.S., it's more complicated and that one of the important variables seems to be do you know that person? Do you have duties and responsibilities to that person? Or if you notice in all those examples that I shared, who's the one that's getting treated poorly? Well, it's a stranger or at least somebody that you don't know,. It's strangers on the subway, it's other people who are going to walk down the sidewalk that you don’t know.
