The Role of Technology in Changing Moral Intuitions
The congers dilemma was introduced by david conget in the nine eighties as a way to show anto ilight the impact of technological systems on society. When technology is malleable and prone to change, we do not yet know the kind of impacts or the impacts that it can have on society. But at the moment when we do know those impacts, the technology is solidified to the extent that makes it very, very difficult to intervene with its trajectory. And so the moral spin on that dilemma was something that was the result of that gool glass study saying the same about moral frameworks.
