The Parakeet Joke

There's some stuff on the internet about the original screen play was kind of come up with by John Hughes, the guy who did all the 80s Breakfast Club. But really what is the screenplay? It's you know, two two idiots on a road trip. And they and they improvised a bunch of it too. Seventy million dollar budget. 40% of that went to Jim Carrey. The consensus was like mixed reviews, but everybody loved it. Roger Ebert, who we always use for the rewatchables to see where what his barometer was. Wasn't a huge fan. He said, Jim Carrey was a true original. I just couldn't stop laughing.
