Dogs and the Sense of Smell
In our family, we got a dog, a a standar poodle named niko. And there were just a lot of conversations round the kitchen table about animal consciousness that had not yit dolt come up before. I think you can react on having an animal in your life in set two ways. The sad way is to assume that they are exactly like us and to be like annoyed when they behave in ways that are different. But i think it makes our world a deeper and richer and more extraordinary by thinking of that world through their senses.
