Is It a War Against NATO?
If it had been shot down, that would have been very serious. I imagine an immediate meeting of the North Atlantic Council,. NATO and certainly the military committee would have got together. And I think they would have, I mean, it's in Article 5 territory, and an attack against one is attacking against all. However, the people that make these decisions are generally sensible and cool-headed. There would have been a lot of chatter, direct chatter with the Kremlin and through all the other diplomatic channels.
