Reginald Moore, a former correctional officer with adjusted units, showed up at the meeting and asked for a museum honoring convict leasing. He also wanted the City to start proactively searching for unmarked convict graves. "I've been talking about this place and how blackness, black people, and black history have been ignored for years," he says.
