After the watts riots, which broke out in l a in 19 65, a commission produced a 100 page report that identified the root causes of the riots to be high unemployment and poor schools. But nothing was ever implemented because once the riots were over, the pressure to implement these things was over. There were no demands by the protesters protest over problems solved for the authorities who never stopped being under pressure from donors and lobbyists and police. The occupiers were so insistent on circle ithemselves according to a very americanized version of anarchism that they couldn't get their act together enough to issue any specific demands.
