Are We Going to Have a New Normal in the Economy?
Since 2009, we've had essentially zero interest rates in some European and other countries. Some people have talked about so-called secular stagnation that may have contributed to weakened growth. But as we've now seen the Fed obviously raised rates dramatically, is this a new reality? I don't know for sure. We're probably headed for a much less fast-growing China than we've gotten used to.
