How to Dial Down Your Expectations
Melt down means a sudden loss of control over one's feelings or behavior. We don't want our kids having meltdowns, right? Listen to the example sentence: You need to quit the habit before you have a complete meltdown. So meltdowns can happen to adults as well. I'm smiling because these expressions, they're so natural.
