Jesus teaches that the kingdom of God grows like a seed—mysteriously, gradually, and through the patient work of sowers who trust God to bring the harvest. As ambassadors of Christ, we are called to engage resistant unbelievers not with arguments or aggression, but with the heart of a gracious gardener. This sermon will teach us to evangelize like Jesus, who asked far more questions than He answered. By asking great questions, we strategically cultivate curiosity to understand the soil of people’s hearts, gently dig into their beliefs with thoughtful questions, and patiently offer trellises of truth through respectful dialogue. Rather than rushing to win debates in a culture skeptical of Christianity, we will see that this posture of love, humility, and curiosity can open doors for meaningful spiritual conversations, pointing others to the hope we have in Christ.
