Introduction

Mary Kelly's murder was horrifying. The brutal mutilation of her body went far beyond the viciousness of the previous Whitechapel murders. Two coroners arrived on the scene, who both believed that the hunt for clues to Mary Kelly's death was theirs to supervise.
