The Importance of Investing in the Transition Transition
Net zero implies a reduction of fossil fuels and oil shifting from 100 million barrels a day to 20. If I look at renewables what you need to achieve is ramping up the development of onshore wind and solar to close to 450 to 600 gigawatts a year. We are investing 55 to 65 billion in the next decade in those transition growth engines. That is investment at scale. My call every time I talk about the energy transition is really let's all work together because this is a huge undertaking.
