Apollo and Daphne
Apollo wants Daphne so badly, it's all he can think about. There are many stories where Apollo is problematic as fuck but here we can still blame Cupid to a large extent. It brings up too many questions about self-control in the face of divinity. The God of loved forced it upon him, hit him with that love arrow that caused an overwhelming and unquenchable desire. He burns for her just the thought of her. His whole heart burns. And besides, he's Apollo, so he keeps chasing her and she keeps running.
