How to Capture Seasonal Smells at Home

Pine, cinnamon and coniferous trees are some of the most recognizable holiday smells. These signature smells come from chemical compounds called turpins or cinnamaldahide. You can create your own smell by heating up water in a pot with something that smells good. The molecules released into the air allow our olfactory receptors to trap them and then send those smell signals to the brain.
