Kant's Critique of Reason
The project of the critique can be seen as targeting itself against sort of three currents of philosophy with an odd fourth one which is built from it. These were defined by a living Kant scholar, really great scholar called Karl Amorex. The first current that we're dealing with and arguably sort of the most thorough one like I've said is the one of David Hume. He argues that our beliefs about the external world rest entirely on contextual, custom and habit rather than finding their foundation in reason.
