What Would You Have Done if You Didn't Have a Weapon?

If you don't have a weapon, your options at that point in time are very limited. The worst option would be just to hit the floor in cower in place. Depending on who the person is and how they are behaving, you may have a better chance of survival an saving other people if you actually close the distance with them. You could also allow other people to join you in that action and then overwhelm that shooter before the shooting can even begin.
