The Nightmare Dressed Like a Daydream
She says darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream. This is such a clever poetic line. It's not something that you would ever actually say in a conversation but it goes perfectly in a song. Then she says I get drunk on jealousy. So this is exactly like how you can say you get high off of certain emotions and it's not talking about drugs but you can also getting drunk on jealousy as she said in this song. She feels like she's kind of out of control when she's jealous. And then the last part where she says got a list long list of ex lovers, which means they'll tell you I'm insane. Which again she's making fun of those
