The first time you do it probably is tough. You may still want to lash out, but I would think the more then you now have a state changer that you can use on an ongoing basis. In fact, what I recommend is people do this breathing pattern for two minutes twice a day and just do it every day, two Minutes Twice A Day. If you don't do it, you won't be able to use it when you're triggered. But if you practice it, you will have built that track in your brain that will allow you to used it when you are triggered. Yeah, perfect.
